Sergio Villa - President & CEO

Sergio Villa serves as a President and Financial Planner for Alliance Wealth Strategies.  He is responsible for designing customized wealth strategies and solutions for clients in the Central Coast.

A South Central Los Angeles native, Mr. Villa was the first of his family to attend and graduate from a 4-year university.  In 1993 he received special recognition from the city of Los Angeles for assisting in the establishment and running of a retail business as a high school student.  In 1996, Mr. Villa served in the United States Department of Education in Washington D.C. on White House Initiatives for Educational Excellence. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara where he received his bachelors' degree in Spanish Literature and shortly after received his certificate accreditation in Business Marketing.

Mr. Villa worked for 4 years in various industries that helped him to build a solid foundation in marketing, customer service and product development.  Mr. Villa is currently working to attain his CFP and MBA in Finance from Cal Lutheran University.  Mr. Villa established Alliance Wealth Strategies, powered by LPL Financial, the 1st of July, 2009.  Prior to embarking in this venture, Mr. Villa worked for Morgan Stanley DW and Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, Financial Services, where he was a Financial Adviser.

A local resident, Mr. Villa if not spending time with his wife Annie, an elementary school teacher and son Micah, is actively involved in our community.  He is the President and CEO of the Santa Barbara Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and helps to cultivate the advancement of cultural business markets.  He sits on the Executive Board for the Children's Museum of Santa Barbara and serves on the board of the Goleta Chamber of Commerce.  He is an avid believer of financial literacy and has partnered with the Housing Authority and local schools to provide financial workshops.  He enjoys spending some of his free time playing basketball and working on his Golf game.
